It was in the early 40's a company called "Simplex Engineering & Foundry Works" was founded by the late Shri.Bhanji Monji Shah at Jabalpur. It started their main products being agricultural implements, steel structures & castings.
    In 1950's, in pursuit of the industrial policy, Simplex associated itself with the Bhilai Steel Plant in the construction of a1 million ton Steel Plant and took up structural fabrication activities. In the course of time Simplex developed from a mere fabricator to that of a technology oriented manufacturer. Simplex achieved distinction in the domestic and international market and entered into a host of collaborations in diverse fields.
    The 1990's marked a quantum jump to establish facilities for fabrication, castings, forging and machine shops with in-house design and engineering facilities. Prestigious Turnkey projects were secured during this period. Simplex started exporting products to Japan, USA CIS Countries, Australia, Egypt.....etc thus creating a niche in the quality conscious International market. Today Simplex plays an important role in the rapidly growing export market and is committed to build a better 'tomorrow'.
